Scoring:

The person(s) who pick the highest finishing driver will receive 5 points.

 

The person(s) who pick the 2nd highest finishing driver will receive 3 points.

 

The person(s) who pick the 3rd highest finishing driver will receive 2 points.

 

The person(s) who pick the 4th highest finishing driver will receive 1 points.

 

Everyone else receives 0 points. 

 

Half a point (.5) for highest driver in the top ten at the end of each stage

 

Payout (based on the 19 people we had last year, and a $100 entry fee):

1st place wins $1300

 

2nd place wins $300

 

3rd place wins $200

 

4th place wins $100

 

Tie Breaker:

Year end tie breaker remains the same where the person with the highest number of weekly top finishes wins the tie breaker.   If two or more people are tied even with the tie breaker, then they will split that place winning.  The 1st place winnings can change depending on how many people are in this year. So if you know anyone else interested and they are good for the money they are welcome! You recommend them and they do not pay you are on the hook for their $100.  

 

Pick Submission:

Picks will be due by 10 am central time the day of the race, UNLESS the race is a scheduled night race, in which case picks will be due by 4 pm central time the day of the race. Once again I will accept picks by e-mail or text.  Shortly after 10 am (or 4 pm for night races) the day of the race, I will send out the picks.  Just like last year there will be a reminder on the e-mail I send out with the standings (as well as on the standings) as to when the next race is as well as a reminder on Friday before the race.  Just like last year I will respond to your e-mail or text confirming I got your pick.  If you have not received a response from me within 8 hours after you sent it, I probably did not get it.   ** Remember you cannot pick the same driver 2 races in a row!
